Since completing his studies at the University of Stuttgart, Jochen Salmen has been a member of the MVD team.
At an early stage, the graduate engineer took on responsibility for architecturally demanding and technically complex construction projects as a project manager.
As a creative mind with the courage to try new things and the willingness to go to the limits of what is technically feasible, he develops numerous structures in MVD’s specialist area of pre-stressing technology, in the areas of membrane and facade construction as well as for dealing sensitively with listed structures.
A number of said structures were presented by him in lectures and publications.
With his ideas and commitment, Jochen Salmen has made a significant contribution to the development of the engineering company Mayer-Vorfelder und Dinkelacker. He was first brought in as a general manager in 2008, has been managing director since 2010 and has been a partner in the management team of MVD since 2011.
