Place of learning and living space in one
Inauguration ceremony for the new school center in Rain
After five years of construction and several construction phases, the new school center for middle and secondary schools in Rain was officially opened on October 15. The ultra-modern building is designed for more than 1,000 pupils in both types of school. In addition to the classrooms, it has shared specialist rooms, a canteen and a 700 square meter auditorium at its heart. With its large stage and state-of-the-art technology, it offers plenty of space for communication and is also a break room for the pupils. The school should not only be a place of learning, but also a living space and thus create the right framework for contemporary education. The outdoor facilities are also a play and recreation area. Rains Mayor Karl Rehm: "It is an ultra-modern and excellently equipped building complex and a functional place to learn and meet."
Despite the coronavirus pandemic and other economic uncertainties and changes, both the deadlines and the total costs were met on time. We are very proud of this exemplary project.
