New building Michael-Ende-School Unterschleißheim

A modern primary school building and a modern double gymnasium for up to 500 pupils will be built on Münchner Ring in Unterschleißheim by mid-2026. The new Michael Ende School building is designed for the "cooperative all-day" model. With classrooms for music lessons, a band room, space for early music education and a small performance room, the building will also be home to the music school.

A special milestone in our Michael Ende School construction project in Unterschleißheim was the lifting of the wooden trusses for the gymnasium roof. With a length of almost 28 meters, a height of 1.80 meters and a width of 0.24 meters, these trusses are an impressive size. Thanks to the use of wood in the supporting structure, this project is also a good example of modern school construction and an important step towards the future.

The shell is due to be completed by early 2025, with completion scheduled for mid-2026. The total cost of the project is around 74.1 million euros.
