MVD company outing summer 2024

The MVD company outing starts in Munich on June 6, 2024. The planned raft trip on the Isar "falls through" after heavy rainfall.
An excellent opportunity for creative and flexible structural engineers to demonstrate their skills and fill the event with new highlights.

The kick-off on 6.6. is at "Der Pschorr" Munich
For Pschorr, it is the people with character who reflect on agricultural traditions and bring them closer to us.
In the spirit of MVD - because here too, projects become a success through the combination of skills, teamwork and the combination of engineering knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for the task. The Pschorr stands for Bavarian comfort with a modern flair and shows how tradition and modernity can be combined in the right way, not only today but also 100 years from now. The motto: Enjoyment with origin Home on a plate.

On Friday, June 7, 2024, we will be visiting the beautiful Schliersee for a distillery tour, or rather a pioneer with a spirit of innovation

SLYRS Whisky "It's not a Scotch, it's not a Bourbon, it's a SLYRS."

It all started with a bet in 1994: Trained brewer and master distiller Florian Stetter went on a study trip to Scotland with his fellow master distillers. He is surprised by the similarities he discovers with his native Upper Bavaria: mountains, clear water and wonderfully pure air. In addition, there is the sometimes challenging stubbornness of the Scots, which seems very Bavarian to him, a dialect that is difficult to pronounce and a pronounced tendency towards free speech. He also finds the Scottish kilt as peculiar as the Bavarian lederhosen.
Florian Stetter develops the vision of producing an Upper Bavarian single malt whisky. He bets his colleagues a crate of wheat beer that first-class whisky can also be distilled in Upper Bavaria - and he wins! Shortly afterwards, whisky is distilled in his parents' distillery, Lantenhammer. This is just the beginning of the SLYRS story. We are excited.

On Saturday, June 8, 24, we take a guided tour of Munich. Into the traditional corners but also to many backgrounds and lesser-known places. There will also be typical delicacies and an obligatory beer. After a final lunch at the L'Osteria on Lenbachplatz, we will take the bus back to Sindelfingen

With many new impressions, a new week of shared energy starts on Monday: we plan ideas - for the built world of the future.
