We did not invent post-tensioning technology, but we were one of the first engineering firms in Germany to transfer it from bridge construction to building construction. By prestressing concrete structures, very slender structures and impressive spans can be realized without interfering beams, columns and girders. The right balance of tension and compression enables lightness and freedom in the architecture and flexibility for the use of the building.

A particular challenge in solid construction is spanning large spans without expansion joints with a low construction height. Thanks to our experience and expertise from numerous projects, we can creatively exploit the advantages of this construction method in building construction.

With pretensioning.

Prestressing plays an important role in the goal of reducing CO2 emissions in the construction industry. Pre-stressed structures can reduce the amount of material used by up to 30% compared to a conventional reinforced structure. If prestressing is combined with a concrete that has a low clinker content, the CO2 emissions of the reinforced concrete structure can even be halved. Our many years of experience enable us to plan such structures extremely effectively and economically.
