MobileLifeCampus / VW Auto Uni

The new MobileLifeCampus building was designed to be extremely flexible, without central columns, in order to meet the changing requirements of university operations. The spans of the ceilings are therefore 15-22 m. MVD developed an impressive prestressed supporting structure for this, which does not require any beams. Thanks to this prestressing technology, which is normally used in bridge construction, the floor plan could be designed completely freely in order to flexibly adapt the room layout to the changing needs of the university.
